Banner...

So, I'm thinking I want to make a cool banner, but I don't know how to do it. Help! I tried to make one out of a picture I have, but I can't get it to stretch all the way across. Can anyone help me out?

Have you ever played with photoshop before?

I just found this free open source photoshop-type program at Gimp.org.

It has taken me a little while to figure it out, but it is pretty cool. I already added two little pictures to the corner of my banner.

I'd check it out if you have some time to play around with it.
