In Limbo, Once Again

OR

So, in the past 5+ years I have inevitably been spending my time in a sort of never-ending limbo. This is based on my choice to ever continue my education. First it was where I would get into a Master's program, which I ended up eventually in Fort Worth via Denton where I spent a year in a program with which I was unsatisfied. I was working while in school, but once I finished I had kind of outgrown my position and knew it was time to move on. Another limbo-- where will I go next-- and after an extensive job search I found myself in Connecticut. After about a year and a half I find myself in another self-induced limbo-- this time I've decided to go back to school again, to get my PhD. I have it narrowed down to 2 places-- Iowa or Hopkins. The main reason I have not made a final decision is because I am waiting for an official decision from Hopkins. Once I have that info I can make a final decision myself. So, I'm either going to be living in Iowa City or Baltimore. Well, I guess my life is in accordance with the title of my podcast-- In Transit-- because that's what I've been doing. In the meantime, I am stressing a bit about what this next change will mean and also about the decision that lies ahead. Thankfully, I know no matter where I'll end up I can still lead a triathlon lifestyle and will still have plenty of triathlon outlets available to me.

Well, only time will tell. I'm supposed to be hearing from Hopkins very soon. Any day now...

Until then, the only way I can maintain my sanity is via blogging my random thoughts and, of course, working up a good sweat. Working out is definitely a good way to get back into focus and release stress!

That's all for now...

College roommate got her master's at Hopkins. If you get in, I'll introduce you two offline. Think you guys sort of live near each other too. She could give you lots of insight about living there. She loved it in Baltimore! Fingers crossed for ya'!
